My Advent Calendar

Hellloo!
How are you?!
This week I though I would share with you my advent calendar.
It is so cute usually I just get chocolate one but my Mum said that I'm not child and I can't get one (what does she know?!) anywho I got a yankee candle one in a atempt to be a bit more grown up however I do miss the chocolate ones!

It is honestly though really nice I have new tea light to burn every night with a christmasy smell and then on the 24th I get a special christmas eve candle!!

These are the six different candles, there is a variety, so each day you will have something different to smell.
The green one is called bundle up, which gives you a bit of a snow and Christmas tree feel, I believe its a pine Christmas tree scent and it smells amazing!
Next we have the white one, which is called winter glow, it smells a bit like fresh washing, but with a Christmas cosiness to it.
The pink one is called snowflake cookie, ohmygosh I kinda want to eat it, it smells so good! (Disclaimer please don't eat your candles you won't feel too good!)
Next we have the burnt orange one, this smells like Christmas to me, I feel the notes of it are orange, clove, cinnamon and nutmeg it just smells soo nice.
The next one is a creamy white colour, however my photo didn't quite pick that up, it's called Christmas Cookie, it smells amazing, it smells of cookies obvs and Christmas bakes!
Last but not least, we have the red coloured candle, it smells like mulled wine and a wood fire, I love to have it on when I have the fire on in the winter time, it just enhances the ambience.

What type of advent calendar do you have let me know in the comments below!

Christmas Jumpers!

HELLLLOOO!

I imagine you will be getting your Christmas jumper soon if you haven't already, now I know some people feel Christmas jumpers are dare I say tacky..?
But I have got my favourite jumpers that are so stylish, people will be envious when they see you wearing it!

I have picked 4 out so you have one for each week in the run up to Christmas.

I love this one so much it!
The quote on the jumper is from Elf which is one the best Christmas films!
It's an absolute bargain too at only £15 which for a jumper is pretty good!

Another classic is this one.
The red and white of course is the classic Christmas colours you need.
Andddd, it's another film jumper, it's from Home Alone 2 and it's only £15 and comes in loads of different colours!

This has to be one of favourite ones this year, I absolutely love the detail the gingerbread man, it's a fairly simple design as a whole the jumper, but I think it's very chic I love as well how it's not brash and you can wear it and feel comfortable.
Guess what?! It's only £15 as well!

Then last but not least pouts not sprouts, that's what we want, I'm not going to lie, I love Christmas, but the one thing I hate about it is Brussels sprout, the smell of them makes me sick, so that's why this Christmas I may have to get this jumper plus it's in petite so perfect for me as I'm only 5'3'', so I think this may be on my jumper wish list.
This jumper is a little more expensive than the others, but come in still at only £20!

Merry Christmas

POMPOMS!!

So now everyone loves the pompom keyrings even the Kardashian's/Jenner's have been spotted with them!
At some places I give it them for being good business minded, but, they can be expensive, so, I thought today I would show you how to make them!

What you are going to need
Faux fur 15cm diameter (in colour of your choice)
a tape measure
a sewing needle
A palm full of stuffing
Thread similar to the fur
A key chain clasp
A small length of elastic

The first thing you are going to do, is get your elastic, and, keychain clasp, hook the clasp through the elastic, and, sew the elastic together so the clasp can't fall out.

Next, you need to lay the fur flat and sew in the elastic so you know where to start from and end.

When you have sewn it together, you need to do a concertina stitch (I don't know if that's what it's called but I have a visual for you below)
But basically this will make the fabric come together and make it a pompom shape.

I usually do 4 bits at a time and just make my way round the circle.

Once you have it all sown, pull the thread round so that it gathers round, don't forget a knot in one end so that it doesn't all undo your hard work!

Once you have got it so it is partially gathered, get your stuffing, and gather the rest, and, pull tight.

Eventually, it will look a little something like this.

You will need to tighten round and tie a knot tight and then you will have your very own pompom!

Then you can have as many as you like you can even make them for friends its a really nice home made gift!

Lash'n'Brow Magic

Growing up, my Mum always gave me great beauty tips for looking after yourself.

One of those has stuck with me, that I swear by, and, it helps you grow and maintain your 'lashes and 'brows!

I have always received comments about how naturally full my brows are, and, how long my lashes are naturally.

It was all down to a beauty hack my Mum taught me and you may be surprised when you hear this.....  Vaseline. Yes, really it honestly works wonders.

I'm sooo so so sorry I haven't posted in soo long, but, I've just been so disorganised but I'm back now and organised!

Pre-Autumn Autumn style

Its that awkward time of year when it's cool half the day and scorching hot the other half.

So that is why I thought that this week I would show you a few outfits put together on my Polyvore that are using layering techniques so that your not freezing in the morning and melting in the afternoon!

Outfit Number 1

Autumn OOTD 3 2016

This first look is great if you are wanting a, I just threw this on but I still look fab outfit, it's a very simply blue jeans you could wear black with a plain white tee, honestly you could get them anywhere from Primark to Topshop whatever float your boat/budget, what glam's the look up is the cape and handbag the cape I'm showing you is Burberry, but honestly, if you go to your local market over the weekend you can find really similar patterns and make your own I even did in a blog post a while ago click here to check out how your could make your own. If you don't fancy making one you can get them from your high street shops, however, I do still find them a bit pricey no where near as much as designers but  you can make them for a lot less. The bag is from peacocks you may want to sit when you hear the price, it's only £16.00 its amazing I couldn't believe it myself. The heals are Dorothy Perkins £38 for me the heels keep it fashionable if you get the warmth in the day and need to take your cape off.

Lemon Meringue Cupcakes!

If your like me then you will have been watching The Great British Bake Off, if your not from the U.K you may not be familiar with it, but, simply it's amateur bakers competing in a marquee tent, in the hopes of becoming the next great British baker, when you explain it to someone it sounds odd if you haven't watched it, but it gets very tense and addictive to watch because if you love to bake you know sometimes it just doesn't go your way and the bake has another idea.

This week in honour of bake off I though I would make lemon meringue cupcakes, now I do have to say I've never in my nearly 20 years of life have I ever attempted to make a meringue but I think it's all part of the learning curve here on my blog so here goes....

Friday 26 August 2016

If you love spa days, facials and all things pamper like then you will love this post!

I would say this is my go to beauty product, when my face needs a fresh start, when all the pollution and all the grime in the air has clogged my pores.
So if you feel you need a fresh start with your skin listen up!!

What in my bag?!

Youtubers and bloggers have done this countless times and I have been blogging a little while now so I thought it was about time I showed you what's in my bag!
However it is what in my bag realness, so, I'll not just show you my beauty products, however, I am a women so they will be some!

So this is my bag I got it on eBay for like £30 it looks a bit like a Céline at a fraction of the price.

So this is my purse I'm using at the moment I love it so much it's a genuine HarrisTweed and I just love the colour gradient of pink to dark blue.

So this is my diary from PaperChase, I take it with me everywhere, and have all my appointments and meeting in there because you never know when your phone will give up on you, and you can store additional notes in this too it just helps me feel more organised person.

This is my Victoria's secret spray, I have few so I can change it up every now and again with different scents, they are so handy just to throw in your bag.

Now no woman's handbag is complete without some hand stuff so I have Crabtree&Evelyn pomegranate ultra moisturising hand therapy cream it smellsss soooo good! Also I have Aveeno which is like oxygen to my skin as I can get quite bad eczema so it helps like a miracle and of course you need some hand sanitiser so I have this cute one from Primark!

Hair grips if you have thick hair you know the feels especially when its humid I have like 9000 grips to stop hair from going to crazy!

I get random headaches so I have these always on hand they work pretty fast so I would recommend having these in your bag!

These are my glasses I try and wear them when I read and write so I always have them in bag because you never know when you will need them.

This is the part when it gets handbag realness yes I have almost finished tropicana in my bag.

I have all my work also in my bag and a tone of pens because you can never have enough and my work iD.

BabyLips Dr Rescue it's amazing I've literally never had chapped lips since I've bought this, it is honestly the best £4 ish you can spend. I also have Extra gum bubble flavour because you always need keep your breath fresh.

Finally I have an umbrella from Next because I live in England and well it can rain any moment as the weather flips in a moments notice so you don't want to get caught in the rain.

That is everything I have in my bag let me know in the comments what is your handbag essential is?
